GeoStudio 2D - 2D geotechnical engineering analysis software
Seequent is the subsurface software company within Bentley Systems. Together, we’re helping build a more resilient future by connecting the built world above ground with the hidden world below it. It’s easy to purchase a Virtuoso Subscription, through Virtuosity, Bentley’s eStore, and still get the expert technical support from Seequent’s subsurface experts.
Simulate surface and subsurface conditions with GeoStudio 2D numerical analysis tools.
GeoStudio 2D offers a range of numerical analysis tools for simulating conditions above and below the ground surface. GeoStudio 2D can be used to model natural soil and rock slopes, groundwater flow systems for geotechnical applications, excavations and open pit mines, dewatering systems, earthen dams and levees, reinforced earth structures, tailings storage facilities, and more.
We offer various versions of GeoStudio 2D, so you can choose which one is best for you:
GeoStudio 2D
GeoStudio 2D offers the foundational capability to perform Limit Equilibrium slope stability analysis using SLOPE/W for soil and rock for problems that do not require the consideration of groundwater flow, finite element stresses or pore-water pressures, or dynamic stresses.
GeoStudio 2D Advanced
GeoStudio 2D Advanced includes SLOPE/W and SEEP/W and offers all the essential capabilities of the GeoStudio 2D tier, while introducing the ability to simulate steady-state and transient groundwater flow in both saturated and unsaturated soil and rock using SEEP/W.
GeoStudio 2D Advanced can be used to analyze geotechnical engineering challenges across the value chain, including rapid drawdown analysis, complex seepage analyses, dewatering problems, and much more.
GeoStudio 2D Ultimate
GeoStudio 2D Ultimate includes SLOPE/W, SEEP/W, SIGMA/W and QUAKE/W and expands the capability of the GeoStudio 2D Advanced tier with functionality to deal with the most challenging geotechnical projects. It includes the ability to analyze static and dynamic stress and deformation within soil or rock using SIGMA/W and QUAKE/W, including coupled consolidation, finite element stress stability, and the ability to use finite element results in SLOPE/W.
GeoStudio 2D Ultimate can be used to analyze geotechnical engineering challenges across the value chain, including stress and pore-water pressure response in complex loading and unloading construction sequences, earthen and tailings dam construction and operation, and much more.
